Mangiavacchi Pedercini has started the work of an historic building, located in Via Alserio 10 in Milan, designed in 1968 by Melchiorre Bega, the architect who designed the Galfa tower and director after Gio Ponti, of Domus magazine.
An original triangular-shaped building, seven storey high, narrow and slightly curved, with short rounded sides where the staircases are located.
Now in disuse since 2015, today sees the conversion into residential, designed by Asti Architects.
The enhancement involved a profound aesthetic transformation of the architecture, keeping the perimeter and the supporting structure unchanged.
